Oiling With An Applicator Bottle

For the past few months, I have been oiling my scalp weekly. To make it easier on myself I pour a mix of shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil and castor oil in an applicator bottle that I found at Sally's. It's the same bottle pictured above. I usually apply the oil on top of a deep conditioner and sit under my Gold 'N Hot Conditioning Heat Cap for 30 minutes. It's a luxe treatment that you can do to spoil your hair. Try it.

I've been using the color applicator bottle to apply oil for a while now. It is genius, a lot less mess, even distribution, and I actually get the oil onto my scalp as opposed to just my hair. I still need to buy a heat cap though.

How do you like this heating cap? I use a different brand but the back section never heats up so i have to turn it around (and look ridiculous :)

I loved this post because it inspired me to find the heating cap laying around in my house and put it to use. I'm a full time student and can't afford to buy every hair product I think I might need so this is currently being used in place of one of those big hair dryers!

Ever since I found this site, my hair has been looking BEAUTIFUL. I was so near chopping it all off!

Each time I get a new idea I try it with amazing results...I can't wait to hook up my own oil treatment and work it into my beautification routine.

Using an applicator bottle is great. Lots of control with little drip. Also, using a tongue depressor works well with applying conditioner.
