I think I have about 10 pairs of shoes. I like shoes but most of them hurt my feet. I'll wear a pair for awhile and when I'm tired and want a new pair, I give the old ones away or sell them to a consignment shop. I have pumps, sandals, boots, platforms... most no older than two years old. I move them in and move them out when I'm done. I have a couple that I love and spent a lot of dough on that I'll probably have forever. Being very particular about my shoes, I'm very practical about the ones I buy. Even if I had an unlimited budget, I think I would be super picky about my shoes. I go through tons of shoes putting together posts for Mane & Chic. Given 500 pairs of shoes, I'm likely to only like 10 and would probably only consider buying 1 or 2 out of that number.

I buy shoes ALL the time!....they make me happy! Then I take a pic of them on my feet, send it to my friends, put them on facebook!...I admit, I've got it bad! But it's ooooh so good!
I share your shoe buying philosophy. I don't like having a bunch of unworn shoes in my closet, so I often donate the ones I get tired of. I probably have 15-20 pairs of shoes, but I may donate some when spring comes.

ReplyDeleteI have 4 pairs of boots, 4 pair of sandals , 6 pair of pumps, 1 pair of ballerina flats. So I guess 15 pair in total, but I do personal shopping and am a bit of a fashion snob for most things I buy. If I weren't, I would have a TONS more.
ReplyDeleteI have not counted but a close guess would be roughly 120. This would include shoes, sandals, boots and sneakers. I have large feet..size 12 and when I see a funky shoe with a sleek high heel...I must have it!!A tiny foot gurl will have nothing on me :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, only 10 pair???? I just bought 7 pair of sandals in the past month! I haven't counted but I am probably at 100. Out of that bunch, I only own maybe 2 or 3 pairs of sneakers. Not a big fan of sneakers, although I would like a few more pair. I mostly own heels and sandals. Boots too!!! I buy what I like. I can be really simple or really flashy when it comes to my shoes. Depends on what I see and like.
