Your Hair and $5000

You just won $5000 from a hair care company, but you only have 24 hours to spend it and you can only buy hair-related items.

What are you buying?

  1. I'd buy: Miss Jessie's entire line, SheaMoisture's entire line, gallons of EVOO & EVCO, tons of Jamila henna, Goody headbands (all colors & widths), gobs of hair candy, tons of shea butter, Aussie Moist condish & 3 minute miracle, HE Hello Hydration condish, HE long term relationship, bobby pins, Mango butter, Giovanni Smooth as silk condish, a few pairs of hair shears and lots of satin pillowcases/scarves. Man, this post really pulled the PJ out of me!

  9. I have two daughters and all 3 of us are natural, soooo...

    -2 hair steamers & hair dryers-$1000
    -2 styling chairs- $300
-2 Shampoo Stations (one for each daughter)-$1000... See More
-Trolley to hold irons, products, combs, brushes, scissors, etc;-$150
-I'd spend $2500 on 3 each of flat irons, blow dryers, hot rollers, trimming scissors, different types of combs and brushes, satin scarves, satin caps, satin pillowcases, satin rollers, magnetic rollers or all sizes, perm rods of all sizes, flexi rods of all sizes & then bobby pins, hair pins, duck clips, shower caps, curl formers, end papers, steam towels, wrap clips, anndd....that's it lol.

The remaining $50 would go to a great heat protectant, deep condish, and leave in. Dont see the point in spending a load on hair products since they are likely to expire.

  11. I'd buy high quality hair for weaves/wigs that match my texture perfectly so I can cut my hair. I promised myself I'd let it grow longish... maybe bra strap length-ish before I ever cut it again. But, if I found a weave that matched my texture I wouldn't feel the need to let it grow that long.

O... and some Vo5 strawberry moisture milk con, clear ecostyler gel and Hawaaiin silky 14 in 1.

  12. Oh wow -- I would start by buying every new natural/transitioning female I know (about fifteen) a Jilbere shower comb, Denman and a couple of jars of shea butter. For myself, I would buy more shea butter, EVOO by the gallon, a new blowdryer, a new hooded dryer, hot oil treatments, a top-of-the-line flatiron, hundreds of alligator clips (they slowly disappear), stock up on Miss jessie's Baby Butter Creme and Silkener, and use the rest on products that I wanted to try but couldn't due to budget restraints.
