It's been raining like crazy lately. I've gone through 3 umbrellas in the past month. A couple of the umbrellas I've had for a couple of years, but the winds have been so crazy that it bent the umbrellas and they were all crooked and ghetto so I pitched them. They were supposed to be good high quality umbrellas. I had a pink one, leopard one and a grape umbrella. I have definitely given up going for the cute umbrella. Now, I'm all about function. Gustbuster is supposed to be the world's smartest umbrella and can withstand winds of 55 mph. Rain sucks on straightened natural hair, but it's also not haute if you're going to work an event or a meeting and your hair gets trashed not to mention your outfit getting wrecked. I'll be ordering the automatic Gustbuster Metro in pink. It's $34.95 on Amazon.
Please let us know how the Gustbuster works out. I go through umbrellas like toilet tissue so my confidence in them is very low yet I continue to buy the cute one.
