Do You Ration Hair Products?

Do you ration your hair products? Do you have an amazing expensive conditioner that you love, but it's so expensive that you have to alternate between this and a cheap product to make it last? Do you mix expensive stuff with cheap stuff? Do you mix the expensive organic stuff with drug store product?

  1. I've learned that price doesn't always correlate to quality of a product. Some of my favorite things are under $10 so there's no need to ration them. Right now I don't have any expensive splurges, but I think it's fun to mix high and low things. You just need to know where to spend more $ and where you can save.

  2. When the top of my head turns into tangle city I like to mix Kinky Curly Knot Today in with my regular cowash. This way I get the slip and detangling properties without dumping out half the bottle in one shower.
