For the sake of today's question, let's say that drinking 4 raw eggs every day with nothing added could transition your hair into a different texture. First, would you do it? Why? What would be your ideal hair type/texture? Or are you perfectly fine with your hair the way it is now?
nope, what's the point. people with curly hair want it straight. people with straight want it curly.
ReplyDeletewith my fro, I can always go medium curls, bone straight, and get a weave of whatever.
now length is a different topic lol.
heck nah! being natural is about excepting AND loving what God made.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't - I'm vegan :/
ReplyDeleteNow if it were soybeans, I would eat tons to make my hair more maneageable, but that's about it :)

I'm a 4a,4b,4c, mainly 4b - I actually like the texture or feel of my hair. It wooly and dark and different and I like it. I would rather drink the eggs if it made my 4b crinkles a little bigger. I like the zig zags in sera 252's hair. Maybe a little more 4a! That's my ideal. Oh, and can it be a little longer too. Not waist length just beyond my shoulders (I bc'd not that long ago).
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to substantially change my texture because that's me! I don't really understand all these type 4's wanting type 3 and type 2! I love the afroness in my hair!
ReplyDeleteI would love to wear my hair out and big like Esperanza Spalding!
ReplyDeleteNah! But I'd so it to make my texture uniform.
ReplyDeleteI dont think I could do it I love my new curls. Even though I have 2 inches of relaxed ends left until my transition is over I still couldn't do it. I enjoying the transitioning process it's cool to see the progression of my hair. But my ideal texture would be my texture 3c curls because they are me.
ReplyDeleteNot change the texture, continue to improve the strength of the strands.
ReplyDeleteThat has been my holy grail....
Yep! I sure would eat a ton of raw eggs if that would change my 4a/b texture to a kinky type 3b hair. Definitely!
ReplyDeleteIsn't kinky type 3b a contradiction in terms? 3b by defintion isn't kinky.
ReplyDeleteSorry, other than dairy, I don't do raw, non-vegetable protein sources. But if I would change something about my hair, I'd make my fine strands stronger, make them hold moisture better, make it retain as much length on the right side as it does on the left, and make it grow faster. I'd also make it start back growing in a couple small spots in the front of my head where I lost hair a long time ago due to hormone change.
