This is not a haiku. A haiku is formatted with 5 syllables in the first phrase, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third and final. This poem is 7,5,7.It's nice though!

I thought that's why she called it a hairku and not a haiku. Britt went against the norm...like natural hair...we're going against the norm.
