Jean Paul Gaultier's spring/summer 2010 couture show featured many variations of braided hair styles. Some of the hair styles could actually be tweaked a bit to be more wearable and others... well, not so much. I especially like the style with the cornrow going down the middle while the rest of the hair is sectioned like pigtails, framed around both sides of the head.   1. I like the hair... The theme of show, to me, seems to be nature vs. machine. Very relevant nowadays.

  2. People tend to hate on couture for being unrealistic, and yeah, come on, no one's wearing this on the street. But it's really a nice collection and very artistically pleasing. The maxi dress bottom left reminds me of some sort of tribal nymph,and I really love the teal/brown palm print deal going on in the middle. The braids are a fresh idea- I haven't seen too much of that. I love the fierce palm headdress- but aside from the wide bangles, that grey dress seems to be completely out of place, more militant and wintery than everything else.
