Gugu Mbatha-Raw is Boris Kodjoe's co-star in the new NBC's new one-hour drama entitled "UnderCovers". The actress plays the role of Samantha Bloom, wife of Boris Kodjoe's character, Steven Bloom. The pair are former CIA members who rejoin to reignite the spark in their marriage. It will air Wednesdays at 8/7 c beginning sometime in the fall . The show is a product of filmmaker J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, Fringe, Lost, Alias) and Executive Producer Josh Reims (Brothers and Sisters). I'm down with Brothers and Sisters, of course Mr. Kodjoe and it's always cool to see curly girls lighting up the screen, so I will definitely be tuning in to NBC.

ReplyDeleteShe also played the sister of the Martha Jones in Series Three of Doctor Who over on BBC, and was Ophelia to Jude Law's Hamlet in London last year. She's definitely an actress to watch!
