This is going to sound like a sales pitch, but seriously this is the greatest thing since BBQ chicken pizza.
Do you read a lot of blogs?
Do you have trouble keeping up with blogs, but you don't want to get an e-mail subscription?
Then you need Google Reader.
It's a FREE feed reader that allows you to subscribe to all of your favorite blogs and websites to see new posts whenever new items are posted. I have it and I use it daily. It's much easier than jumping from blog to blog or getting e-mails from different blogs. You can also easily share the stories with your friends and family. It's insanely easy to sign up for the service. There is nothing to install and it's totally free. Currently, I have subscribed to 50+ blogs in my reader.
Just go to www.reader.google.com whenever you want to read your favorite blogs. It's kind of like a super blog featuring all of your favorite sites across the web. I keep it bookmarked and it's the second thing I do each morning after reading my e-mails.

i've had google reader for over a year, it is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteit became a pain to constantly have to check my favorites to see who posted something new.
the reader actually lets me see how many posting are new, so i dont have to scan.
love it
I LOVE Google Reader! It's the only way I can read all the blogs I love without forgetting anyone. It's also great for those blogs where the author doesn't post regularly. This way it shows up automatically when there's a new post.
ReplyDeleteOMG, Thank you so much. There are so many blogs I visit on a daily basis (yours included!)that I've started forgetting. My mind isn't what it used to be lol. Finally, one place I can go to so I can keep up with all of them.

ReplyDeleteI love, love, love my google reader! I get lots of life from the blogosphere so this handy dandy little tool has definitely made keeping up a breeze. I've even downloaded an RSS reader app for my iphone that connects with my google reader so that I can read on the go! Good stuff.
