I am an artist who was trapped in the wrong jobs for far too long. I Finally decided to pursue my passion for art, and now have a professional artist service Company, Infinite Productions LLC. We help to translate peoples artistic vision into tangible artwork. I love to hike the great outdoors, I am a trained dancer, and love traveling with my husband to new countries. As much as I love art, I love giving back to the community so I am always looking for ways to integrate that into our company activities.
I have been natural for 6 years now. I decided to go natural when I realized that I wasn't relaxing my hair because I wanted it to be straighter or because I felt I looked better. The real reason I was doing it was learned behavior/ beauty regimen. When I sat down to think about what I really wanted, I came to the conclusion that I had not interest in putting such harsh chemicals into my hair, and that I preferred my curls in their true essence.
Hair care regimen I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. After I wash and condition my hair, I usually detangle scrunch and go, and sometimes I set it in braids if I wash it near bedtime.
Trimming Once every two months, because going to the hair salon is my least favorite errand!
Heat I use blow dryers on occasions maybe once or twice every 3 months.
Color I do not dye or highlight my hair.
Products The Alba line of hair products work well for me, and I love the scents. I've gone back to my country upbringing, and make my own homemade hair treatments. I don't have unique recipes to boast, it honestly depends on what I have in stock at home. Some ingredients I love using are Hawaiian honey, expeller pressed coconut oil, oatmeal, avocado and almond oil.
Styles My babysitter growing up was a hairstylist so I can style my hair in more ways then average hair stylist would even dare trying on my curls. I like wearing my hair up in a french twist with tendrils, or just letting it down.
I must have a wide hair comb for detangling, it makes detangling my hair effortless. I am currently using this one from The Body Shop.
