Wardrobe Wipeout

Let's not create a weird or tragic scenario like someone breaking into your house while you're in the shower and stealing your entire wardrobe. Let's just say for some strange reason, you find yourself absolutely wardrobe-less. You have to start over from scratch: new shoes, new bags, new jeans, new earrings — new everything! Your insurance company has sent you a check and it's quite a bit more than you expected. You need some clothes, but you could also use the extra money for other things. How much would you realistically spend on your new wardrobe over the course of one season: spring and summer, 180 days or the next 6 months?

How much is your wardrobe worth?
Under $1000
$1000-$2000
$2000-$3000
$3000-$4000
$4000-$5000
Over $5000

  1. This can be a trick question. The retail value of my wardrobe is pretty high but I am a serious bargain shopper because I love to save money more than I love shoes (and I really love shoes).
