One strand knots, fairy knots, single strand knots, peppercorn knots or whatever you want to call them are one of the most prevalent issues with naturally curly to kinky hair. There are many techniques that claim to prevent them (we'll get into that later), but what do YOU do once they are already there?

Once a month I do an extensive search and destroy mission with my hair shears. And when I say mission, I mean mission: I sit there for what feels like hours! lol Guess I'm a little obsessive.
ReplyDeleteOh, if I see any in-between that month I cut em out right then and there, right above the knot. This way I have healthy ends and keep my length. So far so good - my ends rock right now.
