Eventually I learned how a bottle of conditioner, a Jilbere shower comb and a shower head could save me handfuls of hair. My technique... I part my dry hair in sections using the rattail end of a comb or just my fingers, clip the sections, wash my scalp by sections and apply copious amounts of conditioner. While standing under the shower head, I allowed the water pressure from the shower head to help the comb glide down my hair.

The only way I can get a comb through my curly hair with ease is if my hair is sectioned, soaking wet, under a shower head, drenched with conditioner and using a Jilbere shower comb. this is exactly how i detangle! it was like reading a page out of a day in the life of my hair. i get worried sometimes that i am using too much conditioner or leaving it in my hair too long in between washes when i don't feel like blow-drying.
