There's nothing that aggravates me more than a blog or website that's hard to navigate. It is incredibly annoying, right? I know you know what I'm talking about. I hope this blog isn't like that for you because I try really hard to make everything easy to find. If you are having a hard time with anything on the blog, I'd like to fix it. Is there anything that you would like easier access to? Is there a topic or series of posts that you'd like to see in the top navigation bar? Please share your thoughts in the comments.

I was stubborn at first because I really wanted to make the sidebar navigation work, but then I decided to listen to your requests and put the navigation bar at the top of the page again.
Also, to make your viewing experience a little more visually pleasing, I've added a "Must Reads This Week" section where you can see my favorite posts of the week.

You used to have a nav bar at the top, personally I find it useful.

I also preferred the Nav bar at the top. It was clean and streamlined. The ad at the top (although not too annoying now) will be when it gets filled. May look cluttered.
ReplyDeleteHaving th e navigation bar at the top looked MUCH better & also made the site WAY easier to use. Also, not all of the Featured Curls you have had are up in the archive library...for example, where is Blair? I had to go back like 35+ pages just to find her update! I would love to see all of the women you have interviewed featured instead of just the few you have there now. Thanks & keep up the great work!!!

I'm actually in the middle of a redesign. I am aware that NOT all of the featured curls are in the photo archive. It's very time consuming. I'll fix it one day. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteI also preferred the top nav bar. Also I liked when there was a place to click on past blog topics of interest. I believe that was on your right nav.
ReplyDeleteHummm... For some reason, the blog seemed easier to navigate before. If I visit a section then try to click on home, nothing happens. For awhile, I was also getting some super annoying and vocally LOUD ads popping up. Also, are you still accepting ppl who would like to be featured? I know someone but the link is now gone. Should she just e-mail you.

@Anonymous, you can avoid the ads by subscribing to the feed.

If you're looking for the archive, it's at the bottom of the skinny side bar at the very bottom.
