I am a little shocked because I would have never seen that coming, but it's so exciting not only for women with curly hair that love Urban Outfitters, but it's also thrilling to see indie brands like Kinky-Curly grow and become so well embraced by the masses. Plus, we all love Shelly, the creator of Kinky-Curly.
First, the big chains like Whole Foods, then Target, now Urban Outfitters... what's next for this flourishing brand? I'm excited to see. Could we be hoarding Kinky-Curly in our local drugstores or malls soon? I can't wait to see!

Haha well that is quite surprising. Not that I ever see a multitude of black people in Urban, but at least this will be helpful to curly girls in general. Congrats to Kinky Curly's owner for really getting her product out there!

ReplyDeleteGet out! Can it be? That's strangely fabulous. Urban Outfitters is always on the quirky side. Didn't even know they sold beauty products online. Huge marketing stunt? Very interesting... I'll still be going to Whole Foods or Target to save myself shipping, but nonetheless very interesting...
