They were two different girls. I saw behind the scenes pictures from the shoot and there were shots of the two girls saying "Hi" to Drake. The one with the longer, looser looking curls was walking up to him taking his hand while the other one was waving.
We spoke not long ago on facebook in relation to your site being a big inspiration and help on my 'type 4' hair journey. Just wanted to let you know that the girl featured is 'Suzette James'. She is a sweet heart and a fellow colleague of mine. The other girl is of no relation to her, according to a friend of mine who models and often shares the same set as Ms. James.
Any who- I worked with Suzette for a couple class projects back in 09. Funny enough, upon discussion one time, she mentioned that the majority of her bookings came FOLLOWING her decision to wear her hair in its 'curly' natural state versus that of straight. I think she'd make for a good interview, and you can find her online / facebook.
She looks like Naomi, the girl from the group Electrik Red. She is also a professional dancer and has been a featured dancer in quite a few videos.
