I liked this look, but not the jeans. Most of us will have pieces very similar to all the pieces shown here. P.S. I love how I've seen a few of these pieces on Tracee before, I like it. It makes her feel more 'real'. She really works her wardrobe. Take notes.

those jeans are a horrible addition to an otherwise cool/fab look. mom jeans = NEVER the business lol

The jeans...ugh! the fit, the length, the waist. ALL BAD. A belt may have saved the waist, but the length and the fit... not one of her better moments
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree! Jeans are unflattering.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind the length of the jeans, and I don't think I mind the fit so much. It's the tummy section that bothers me, and I'm also not sure that I love the color of the jeans with that outfit. But I could get past all of that if she were wearing a blazer that closed in the front (though I think the open blazer works better for a casual look, esp. with the yellow sleeves showing under the blazer sleeves). Maybe if she hadn't tucked in the yellow top? That could have covered the top of the jeans. I think the fact that she's hippy and curvy plays into it too. If you don't work that the right way, it's easy to look frumpy, and the top of those jeans doesn't help. All that to say, cover the top of the jeans, and I think you would have gotten away with it. I really don't think it's all that bad. Put your thumb over her mid section at look at the photo again lol
ReplyDeleteWhat WAS she thinking putting those jeans on, rather buying those jeans in the first place. Definitely not her usual! She gets a pass this time...lol!
ReplyDeletethose are throw back jeans...lol. I love Tracee's style tho.
