I am thankful for "transition comraderie"! I have met so many sisters new to natural hair styling who ask me how I take care of mine, and vice-versa. It has been a chance to share, bond, encourage and even make new friends!

ReplyDelete1. Being natural for nearly 3 years and not once thinking about relaxing again.
2. My mom, 2 sisters and 18 year old daughter are all natural (1 year, 3.5 yrs, 2.5 yrs and 22 months, respectively.)
3. My daughter finally appreciating HER hair texture and not comparing it to mine or anyone else's.
4. The new top executive at my job is natural.
5. My new protective style: the Southern Tease Bun.
