One of my goals for 2010 was to publish 1000 posts to Mane and Chic in 2010. This is officially the 1001th post. Tough, it meant posting an average of 3 times a day, 7 days per week. Yeah, it was insane. I don't think I'll be doing that again. I love hair, fashion and personal growth, but I will admit I was getting a little burnt out doing it by myself. I am happy that I stuck with it and equally happy that it's done. I don't know why I chose 1000. I have no idea what I was thinking, but I became more disciplined in all areas of my life by following through on this goal I set.
Another goal was to have 5000 Facebook fans (or likes or whatever they are calling it now) and thanks to you, that happened too. So thank you for making that happen and helping me to exceed that goal.
I think I can confidently say that I have conquered most, if not all of my goals for 2010. It's kind of crazy reading the goals I wrote last year around this time and to see nearly all of them come to fruition. Not just my goals for Mane and Chic, but personal, financial, spiritual and emotional goals I had for myself. Let's just say I am living proof that positivity, goal-setting and choosing happiness is the key to everything.
In 2011, I just want you to love the new Mane and Chic e-shop. I'm so excited about it.
Did you reach any big goals in 2010? Have bigger plans for 2011?
I'd love to hear it. E-mail me or leave a comment below.
Cheers,

That is simply wonderful I believe that when you set goals you achieve more than you ever expected. I have read many of your post I can't say I read every single one of your post but what I have read has been inspiring and most of all informative. I achieved a goal and a passion to start my own business. I have done just that. I am a Teen Life Coach to Girls and Empowerment Speaker. I believe that self-love and self-worth must be the foundation of Igniting the You Within. With that being said congratulations on reaching your goal and continue to Ignite the You Within. You certainly are enhancing the lives of others by encouraging women to simply love their manes.
